When the series started, Tammy weighed approximately 725 pounds (51.8 stone) and required help to walk - plus needed an oxygen mask.

Tammy recently discussed with People how her weight loss journey changed her life after shedding 440 pounds (31.4 stone) – her current weight is 285 pounds (20.6 stone).
"One of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably small to most people," she explained to the publication.
"But for me it was huge. Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don't even sleep with it at night anymore.
"Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle, and not have to use an extender now. So I mean, just what seems minor to some people is giant for me."
Tammy had gastric band surgery in 2022, which involves putting a silicone band called the Lap-Band around your stomach to reduce stomach capacity and slow food passage, according to Cleveland Clinic.
As she keeps changing her life, Tammy shared during a TikTok Q&A that she wants to learn driving eventually – but recognizes it will take time.
"I do want to learn eventually," she stated. "But right now anxiety's just a little too much. A lot going on. But baby steps."
Despite her positive life changes, Tammy faced a devastating loss last summer when her husband Caleb Willingham died.
The couple met at a rehabilitation facility in Ohio, where both received obesity treatment.
They wed in November 2022, but their relationship lasted briefly and they parted ways just a few months after.
Reports confirmed that Willingham's death resulted from natural causes.
Tammy regularly updates social media with her progress - and shares motivational messages to support others on similar paths.
Fans now marvel at the TV star as she displays her transformation with an image of herself wearing swimwear.
Sitting beside her friend Haley Michelle - who frequently shares pictures of their time together - she appears in a swimming pool wearing a blue, mermaid-patterned swimsuit.
Michelle posted the image to her Instagram, writing: "Proud of you #tammyslatonweightloss."
