Whether you order your gold credit card from Mastercard or Visa: With the Gold Card from your personal bank, you can withdraw cash at around one million ATMs worldwide. It is also welcome at around 30 million points of acceptance. Make cashless payments in hotels, restaurants, department stores, travel agencies or at gas stations, for example. Of course, it is also the perfect shopping companion on the Internet: use it to pay online easily and securely with Mastercard® Identity Check™ or Visa Secure. You can change your PIN to your preferred combination directly at the ATM.

Contactless and mobile payment

With the GoldCard, you can pay for your purchases contactlessly at the checkout - easily, quickly and securely. Just hold your card up to the card reader with contactless function. The amount is authorized in less than a second. As a rule, you only need to enter your PIN to secure the payment for amounts over 50 dollars. As usual, you are billed once a month via your checking account. You can tell whether your gold credit card is ready for contactless payment by the corresponding symbol on the card. You can also make convenient mobile payments with your digital GoldCard in the Pay app. To do so, simply hold your smartphone with Android operating system up to the card reader - without entering a PIN at the payment terminal. With your Apple device, you can use the Apple Pay payment solution.

What are the costs for the gold credit card?

What insurance does the GoldCard include?

The benefits package includes several insurances that protect you during a trip. A member of staff at your local bank will be happy to advise you on this.

Can I make contactless payments with my GoldCard?

Contactless payment is possible with newly issued Mastercard® and Visa cards. Existing credit cards will be exchanged for cards with the contactless payment function at the end of their term.

How can I tell if my credit card has been converted to contactless payment?

You can tell whether your GoldCard is ready for contactless payment by the corresponding symbol on the card. If your credit card does not yet have a contactless symbol, you will still have to enter or sign the PIN when paying.
