Elon Musk’s dad says Elon “hasn’t been a good father” to his kids
Elon Musk's father openly acknowledged his son's shortcomings as a parent to his numerous offspring.
Recent events have sparked discussions about the SpaceX CEO's parenting skills. These discussions follow claims by a conservative social media personality about birthing his 13th child and an incident involving his young son at the White House.
Social media figure Ashley St. Clair stated Musk fathered her five-month-old baby. She explained she kept their relationship private but had to speak up to prevent media outlets from breaking the story first.
Her statement on X said: "Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."
She added: "I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child's privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting."
St. Clair told TMZ that Musk has avoided her messages since she shared the news.
Earlier this month, Musk brought his 4-year-old son, X Æ A-Xii (nicknamed Lil X), to the Oval Office during a press event.
While Musk answered questions about various topics, including Gaza aid shipments, his son was seen picking his nose and speaking quietly to Donald Trump.
Many social media users criticized Musk's choice to expose his young son to public scrutiny. The child's mother, Grimes, shared their concerns, posting on X: "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
Errol Musk recently commented on his son's parenting on the Wide Awake podcast, stating: "No, he hasn't been a good father. If Elon hears this, he's going to shoot me or something."
Vivian Jenna Wilson, Musk's estranged daughter, noted that St. Clair's announcement marked the second time she learned about a new sibling through social media.
Musk has 12 confirmed children with three different women, not counting St. Clair's claimed baby.
