A crowdfunding campaign has been created for relatives of a 28-year-old individual whose unexpected death has left family members "still trying to find answers." Dylan Jay Watts from Moruya on the New South Wales South Coast, Australia, died on March 15 at just 28 years old.

His younger sister Caitlyn Watts explained on a fundraising page that the young father of an eight-year-old boy was "extremely sick with bacteria in his lungs." Medical professionals reportedly discovered "72 holes that would never heal" in Dylan's lungs, telling him he "would be fortunate to reach his 30th birthday."

Caitlyn added: "We all have a fragility within us, many loved ones will remember his story and memory, and we will always miss him. This serves as a reminder that those you care about can vanish instantly, so embrace them today and express your love."

Dylan's mother Suzanne Coote shared photos of her son on social media with the message: "My family was shattered last week. My son Dylan left this harsh world, too young and too quickly. He suffered from a rare lung condition. His life quality was rapidly worsening. We never thought he would die suddenly, three days before turning 29."

In a subsequent post, she mentioned the family was "nearly bringing Dylan home," sharing the fundraiser link and thanking all donors. She noted the family "still seeks answers."

"We continue looking for reasons why this advanced so rapidly. My son represents the brightness in my life, the power in my walk, and I speak for him," she continued. "We wish to provide the memorial he merits. A unique gathering where everyone can join to honor his life."

The fundraiser - established by a family friend - concluded: "Though Dylan had been sick, this naturally shocked his loved ones who now face not only grief but also stress about arranging his farewell."
